Overview:
Vidyaniketan is an empowering education institute that offers a full-time remedial academic program for students with learning difficulties, as an alternative to mainstream schooling. An institute that is both future-ready and built on a strong heritage. It values culture and strongly believes in an unprejudiced teaching system. The relevance of education to real situations is the core of the learning goals. They want to create a safe space for kids to unapologetically be themselves and mold themselves into responsible adults.
The guidelines for us were to re-brand them into the most trusted institution that they are. The directive was to create a website that speaks their values and encourages parents and kids to enroll. We were told to build a brand that ensured safety, trust, and learning.
Challenge:
We had to completely redesign their site into a user-friendly website for parents and kids from various backgrounds. Both the logo and their website did not convey the crucial message of “school for specially-abled” kids. The website also had a lot of irrelevant information and the content was scrambled throughout the pages. We wanted to focus on user experience and create content that reflects their core idea.
Solution:
Our goal while working with them was to rebrand them completely so that they are recognized by the right audience. We built an interactive and fun website with a pop of colors. We re-designed their logo that showcased the “empowerment of specially-abled kid warriors”. The new logo connected their vision to the people. We designed brand collaterals like visiting cards, name boards for classrooms, and illustrations to shape their institute into a lively cheerful atmosphere. We worked on their uniforms to encourage kids to wear them regularly. We wanted the uniform to be comfortable and unique just like their students.
